We are a 6 Week Camp and a commitment for all 6 week is necessary.

Camp-Related Questions
What are the work hours?
You must be at camp by 8:30 AM. The camp day ends at 4:00 PM or when the last camper leaves. On Fridays, all staff help reset the shul and clean the bunk room.
What is the pay?
At camp, we don’t see this as traditional pay but rather as spending money to support you during your time here. The dedication and effort our staff put into camp are truly invaluable, and no amount could fully compensate for the impact you make.
That being said, we do our best to take care of you, ensuring you have everything you need and that your summer is an unforgettable experience.
We offer a tiered pay structure based on grade level:
- Girls going into 12th grade receive $50 per week.
- Older staff members receive a higher amount, increasing with grade level and experience.
Payment is made every two weeks.

How many kids are in each bunk?
Each bunk has 10-15 campers.
Are there more local counselors, or are we the only ones?
Yes, there will be local Junior Counselors (JCs) assisting the main counselors.
Living Arrangements
Where are we living?
You will be staying in a house near the shul, provided by Chabad.
Who is in charge of us in the apartment?
A post-seminary Counselors’ Counselor is in charge of the dorm. She will be the driver, enforce curfew, and help set up a cleaning system.
Food & Meals
How does food work?
We provide hot dinner daily. Staff receive a budget to buy breakfast and lunch. Your apartment will be stocked with food, snacks, and drinks at all times.
Where are we eating on Shabbos?
Friday night: You will rotate between the Shluchim’s houses. If you prefer, you can make your own Friday night meal—we can help provide food.
Shabbos day: When there is a kiddush at the shul, you will eat there.

After-Camp Activities & Extra Income
How can we make extra money?
You can sign up for early care and/or aftercare. If the Challah Shoppe is open, there may be opportunities to work there.
Can we go on Friday Mivtzoim and do Chalk Shabbat?
Absolutely! We can also incorporate Chalk Shabbat into camp activities. If Shabbos is late and the driver is available, you’re welcome to go out and do Mivtzoim.
